MY THOUGHTS
Fire Mountain is written by one of my most favorite authors, Dana Mentink. I was super excited to see a fuller length novel from Ms. Mentink. This is part of the Elements of Danger series. One of the things that you can count on from this author, will be heart pounding action and suspense. This book drew me in within the first few pages.
Kit Garrido is a long haul trucker. She wakes up with a baby and her rig wrecked. She has no memory of how it happened. Former police officer Cullen Landry finds Kit and does not want to get involved, however he soon realizes that someone is set on eliminating Kit. Cullen realizes he has to help.
Kit and Cullen need to try and stay 2 steps ahead - however the bad guys seem to on their heels. Factor in that Mount Ember is on the verge of erupting - and you will want to keep reading late into the night to find out what happens next.
