                                                               ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Shannon Redmon remembers the first grown-up book she checked out from the neighborhood bookmobile. A Victoria Holt novel with romance, intrigue, dashing gentlemen and ballroom parties captivated her attention. For her mother, the silence must have been a pleasant break from non-stop teenage chatter, but for Shannon, those stories whipped up a desire and passion for writing.

Shannon hopes her stories immerse readers into a world of joy and escape while encouraging faith, hope, and love for those around us.  Her debut novel Cave of Secrets will be released by Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense line in October 2020 and her other published works have appeared in Spark magazine, Splickety magazine, The Horse of My Dreams compilation book, Romantic Moments compilation book, the Lightning Blog and the Seriously Write blog. She won first place in the Foundation Awards and is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency.

                                                                MY THOUGHTS

Cave of Secrets is Shannon Redmon’s debut novel, and I am super thrilled to be apart of this launch. This book starts off with action and she keeps it going throughout the ENTIRE book.

Carli Moore is back in her hometown and at her family ranch. While she is home, she comes across a skeleton. Carli recognizes a pink piece of fabric on the skeleton. It was Carli's sweater that she had lent to her friend, Sadie. It was the last thing she saw Sadie in.

Sergeant Zain Wescott has his suspicions about his sister's disappearance. It involves the Moore family. He is very shocked when Carli turns up on his door step letting him know that she found her.

Zain tells Carli that she thinks that her brother killed his sister - and Carli wants to prove that theory wrong. With a painful history and childhood memories - can the two team up and find out who killed Sadie? The killer is dead set on silencing them both.

Non stop action. Well written characters. Flowing storyline. This is a must read for the season. I absolutely cannot wait until her next novel. This book will leave you guessing.

I received a copy of this book through the author. All thoughts are my own.
