My Thoughts

I am a huge fan of the Love Inspired Suspense series. They always contain so much action that it will get your heart pumping right off the bat. Texas Witness Threat by Cate Nolan is the first book that I have read by this author. In this story, we meet Assistant US Attorney Christine Davis. She is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She is taking shelter from the rain and sees something unthinkable.  She knows that she witnessed a murder. However there is no hard evidence. She becomes even more convinced once someone clearly wants her dead. We also meet Texas Ranger Blake Larsen. Christine darts in front of his car and he stops to help her. He is the only one that believes her - and wants to protect her at all costs.  These two made a great team. Their skills from their scope of employment will be challenged and utilized as they try and sort it out. They were well written and I enjoyed watching the relationship grow throughout the book. As all Love Inspired, there is so much action and when you have it figured out - another fork in the path appears.
