My Thoughts

Worth the Risk is the first book that I have read by Anna Stewart. This book is part of the Butterfly Harbor Series. While this is part of a series, I had no issues following along. In this story, we see Declan Cartwright. He is a racecar driver. He is back in Butterfly Harbor to recooperate due to an accident. He is staying on the outskirts of town. He meets, Athena Costas when her food truck tire busts and he assists her.

Both are dealing with some issues. Declan may never be able to race again, which is passion. Athena is dealing with some guilt. Declan didn't expect to fall for someone in Butterfly Harbor. Athena is not sure that she could give her heart to someone who is such high risk. Athena is well liked with the community, and Declan has been the talk of the town.

I loved following the character's journey. They are well written. They are real feeling. They are well created. The author's town of Butterfly Harbor is real feeling. This is a great clean romance.
