MY THOUGHTS Killer Weed is written by Manning Wolfe. This is part of the Merit Bridge series. I have not read any of the other books in the series, but the author did a great job in giving back story about previous characters. This book grabbed my attention right away, and kept my attention throughout. I really liked Merit's character. She is determined, smart and does not back down. Merit has a client that she has helped get the necessary paperwork to legally farm marijuana. The author clearly did her research while writing this book. While, there is clearly someone who wants to destroy the competition when they burn down Merit's clients crop. What the arsonist does not realize is that he will encounter teenage boys and tries to be rid of them also. The hired gun is a master of disguise, he learns his targets and blends in around them. He is ruthless, cunning and tries to stay ahead of the investigation. He meets his match with Merit. As she and her team start to unravel his plans - she becomes the next target. I loved the action and suspense in this book. I loved seeing what was going to be happening next. The author takes you on quite an adventure with this story.
