From the very first chapter, I was pulled into the festive atmosphere of Orca Cove, where Christmas spirit, lovable dogs, and an intriguing mystery come together perfectly.  This is a new to me author, and I definitely will be checking out more of her work in the future. Charlie is a relatable and easy-to-root-for main character. She’s determined, compassionate, and just the kind of amateur sleuth you want leading the story. The supporting cast is equally entertaining, with enough quirky personalities to keep things interesting while making the town feel warm and inviting. As a dog lover, I especially enjoyed the agility show setting. It adds a unique twist that sets this mystery apart from others in the genre. The holiday backdrop makes it even more enjoyable, creating a cozy, feel-good atmosphere without taking away from the suspense. The mystery is well-paced, with plenty of clues, red herrings, and surprises that kept me guessing until the end. Nothing felt rushed, and the balance between humor, holiday charm, and mystery was just right. If you’re looking for a cozy mystery filled with Christmas magic, adorable dogs, memorable characters, and a satisfying puzzle to solve, Dashing Through the Show is a wonderful choice.
