Author Bio: Angela Carlisle (AngelaCarlisle.com) resides in the hills of northern Kentucky and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and The Christian PEN. Angela is an editor by day and prefers to spend her free time reading, baking, and drinking ridiculous quantities of hot tea. In this series we meet Corina. She has not had a smooth life. She lost her mother and 7 year old brother to a brutal murder. She also was involved in a car accident that left her injured and her  ex boyfriends younger brother dead. She has built a new life for herself in Kentucky. Life is peaceful.  Until she starts to receive threats. Suddenly she finds her ex boyfriend, Bryce back in her life. He has just returned home from the military. The last thing he wants to do is see Corina. They both carry hurt and baggage from their past around with them.  Together they start to find out that Corona's father has some deep dark secrets. She starts to wonder about her mother and brother's cold case. Her dad becomes more and more secretive and it becomes clear that Corina is now a target. Can they figure out who is behind this before it's too late?  The author has crafted  a well written suspense filled story. The plot moves at a comfortable pace, and you will find yourself turning pages quickly to find out what happens next. The characters are realistic. This book will draw you in within the first few pages.
