Author Bio: Cindy Goyette is a former probation officer who had a front row seat to the criminal justice system. She kept her sanity by finding humor in most situations. A mix of these things helped her create The Probation Case Files Mystery Series, Book 1, OBEY ALL LAWS won a PSWA Award for best suspense, and was published in January of 2024. MY THOUGHTS Early Termination is written by Cindy Goyette. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed this story. This is the second book in the Probation Case File series. I have not read the first book - but I had no issues following along.  Phoenix probation officer Casey Carson finds herself on a couple of lists. These are not the lists that you want to be on. She finds that her probation clients are dropping like flies - and she is in hot water since the connection lies with her. She really loves her career - but trouble seems to follow her like bees to honey.  I enjoyed the characters, the settings, the twists and turns. I really enjoyed being in the mind of Casey. She is determined to find the real killer and clear her name.  The story is well written, the characters are engaging. Thank you to the author, publisher and Partners in Crime Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.
