This is a MUST READ domestic suspense thriller.  When I tell you that this book took me on an adventure. I was not prepared.   Carly has not had a great upbringing.  Her mother was murdered and essentially was abandoned by her step family. She’s worked hard to build a life worth living.  She’s now an English Professor and she’s proud to where she is at.  Until a college is found dead in her office. Suddenly her past comes crashing back like angry waves.   This book is told from multiple point of views but is woven together seamlessly. I love how easily it moves from Carly’s past to her present.  It shows how childhood trauma can really alter our perspective of our pasts.  This is an author that will be on my automatic TBR from now on.  Thank you to the author, publisher and Partner in Crime Book Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book.
