This is book three in the Probation Case Files Series. I have not read all the other books, but did not have any problems following along. This was an amazing read, and I found myself lost within the pages, and apparently ignoring all else around me. (at least that is what my husband says).  Casey is a Phoenix Probation officer. It’s definitely a stressful job. She takes a side job where she spends time with troubled youth on a wilderness adventure. Of course, it would not be a suspense book without some chaos. In this case, she also wants to sort through some feelings. She has two guys that she is unsure of what way to go. One is her ex husband, Betz and one is her neighbor Marcus .  Then there are the teens in this program, they are all not thrilled to be there. I mean, with troubled teens hiking in the wilderness, what could go wrong.. This contains lots of action and suspense. I loved this story.  This book is well written, the characters are relatable. The storyline pulls you in within the first few pages.
