Life or Death is written by Andrea Kane. This is book 11 in the Forensic\ Instinct series. I have not read the whole series, but have read a couple of them - and had no issues following along. I love being able to read anything that comes from this author. Her attention to detail is strong - and there is always such great suspenseful content that is packed in.
In this story, we are outside of NYC, and FBI agent, Shane Walsh has been found deceased. His wife has vanished. This hits too close for the team, for Ryan is Shane’s cousin. He is having a hard time seeing Caitlin as the primary suspect. The FBI however wants to tie up the case, and blocks any other ideas/thoughts on who is involved. Forensic Instincts are going out on a limb and could be potentially shut down if they don't fall in line.
