This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it will not be the last. I was drawn into this book within the first few pages and was completely shocked at the twists and turns.  Dara is juggling a lot of things. She's a top realtor, she has a husband who has had an accident, a stepdaughter with Autism and a step son who is in a rebellious stage. She knows she needs help, and when Merry comes in applying for an assistant position. Merry inserts herself perfectly into Dara's life, and gets the job with no background check. Dara is so happy to have her life a bit more organized.  However, those around Dara feel that Merry is too good to be true. Dara chooses not to listen, and then Merry starts to become obsessive. Dara starts to dig deeper into Merry's past and she soon finds that she hired someone who is not who she says she is.  Merry is the master of manipulation and disguise. Once she sets her sites on something - she will not stop. Until she wins. She will not let Dara snooping around stop her plans.  So many unexpected twits and turns, so much suspense and I love how the author moves the story at a fast pace, and drops the crumbs into the story for readers to figure out.
