MY THOUGHTS

🎃 Plot twist: the scariest thing about Halloween isn’t the ghosts, witches, or things that go bump in the night…it’s telling a kid there’s SCHOOLWORK involved. 😂

Thankfully, Mr. Moonbeam and the Halloween Crystal: Activity Book/Novel Study by Ryan Cowan understood the assignment. This isn’t one of those activity books that feels like someone slapped a pumpkin on a worksheet and called it festive. It’s creative, engaging, and actually makes diving deeper into the story feel like part of the adventure.

I especially loved how it gets readers thinking about what they’ve read without sucking all the fun out of it. There’s a nice mix of comprehension and creativity, making it perfect for classrooms, homeschoolers, or families looking to add something different to spooky season.

Basically, the author managed to disguise learning as Halloween fun—and I respect that level of trickery. 😂🎃👻 If you’re reading Mr. Moonbeam and the Halloween Crystal, this activity book is a fantastic way to keep the adventure going after the story ends.

I know one thing we all enjoyed this. It’s fun for the whole family

The tricks are spooky, the activities are fun, and the learning sneaks in when nobody is looking. Now THAT is some Halloween magic. ✨🎃

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Children Book Reviews for the opportunity to read this fun story all thoughts are my own.
