My Thoughts:
Oi Gets lost is a cute book that I read with my 10 and 8 year old sons. They were both able to read with no issues and it has become one of our favorite books we have reviewed. Oi, is a little kitten who loves to explore. His mother has warned him several times not to go too far but like an active child, Oi does not always listen. However, one day he explores too far and gets lost. He finds himself in a new place with new things to look at. Oi has to try and fend for himself. Oi also is discovering that there is a lot of things that are different from his home. Readers will watch Oi grow up and become braver throughout the book. He begins to miss home and we follow him on that adventure.
The book is well written, it is perfect for those transitioning to chapter books. My sons really enjoyed this book.
