My Thoughts
Expired Vows is written by Laura Conaway & Lisa Phillips. This is book four in the Last Chance Fire and Rescue series. I have really enjoyed this series. The first responders of the Last Chance Fire and Rescue team have become friends in a sense. I have really enjoyed seeing their lives, their back stories and growth.
This is EMT Trace Bently’s story. He previously was a police officer, but after the death of his wife, he gives up his career. He moves back to Last Chance County. His wife’s best friend, Kelsey Scott who is a family counselor finds herself a target in attacks. She is not sure why she is being targeted. Trace wants to protect her.
This book is packed full of action and suspense. Is one of Kelsey’s clients responsible for the attacks? Why is she being attacked? Can Kelsey and Trace battle the demons that have been plaguing them
I cannot believe this series is ending. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the author, publisher and JustRead Publicity Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book, all thoughts are my own.
