What Lies we Keep is written by Janet Roberts. This is a new to me author and I will be keeping an eye out for new releases. This book is well written with well developed characters. The author has crafted a well blended story of raw emotion and suspense.
Ted McCord has been fired. He has been hiding a lot from his wife, including what he uncovered and used to his advantage for a promotion. When it all blows up, his wife, Charlotte. leaves and is left in shock. Ted has always chased money and status and Charlotte has not been interested in that. When everything comes crashing down she is not sure who she can trust. From Pittsburg to Montana the author crafts her scenes so detailed you feel like you are there.
