My Thoughts:
What an adorable book. I read this book with my 9 and 7 year old sons. We enjoyed it a lot.  In this book we read the story of Mickey. Mickey is about to start 6th grade at a new school. Like many kids his age, he is excited for the new school year. He will be riding the bike 2 blocks to go to the school. Mickey is not like other kids. He has a hearing deficit. I love how this story explained while Mickey is different - there is nothing wrong with him. He can go to school, go swimming, go to soccer practice and ride his bike just like everyone else. He has friends, he likes school and so much more. The book is beautifully illustrated and written well. This would be a great edition to all school libraries.
