My Thoughts:
Journey to a New Earth is a Children's book that is geared toward ages 3-7. I read this book with my 9 and 7 year old son. My 7 year old who struggles sometimes with reading was able to read this book with very little assistance. This book is beautifully illustrated and well written. We see the story of Penelope Panda and Kobi Koala. Kobi's forest home has been destroyed by fire. The boys and I discussed what happens with forests are destroyed by fires. While some of the topics are above the heads of the intended audience, my boys were able to follow along. I love that despite losing friends and homeland, Kobi and Penelope find a deeper connection to our world. This is a great book.
I received a copy of this book through IRead book tours. All thoughts are my own.
