MY THOUGHTS
Her Cowboy Wedding Date is written by Cari Lynn Webb. This is part of the Harlequin Heartwarming line. You can count on a sweet clean romance with no added filth. This is the first book that I have read by this author. However, this is the 3rd book in the Three Springs, Texas series. They can be read as stand alone series. I did find that previous characters made reappearances, but I did not have any problems following along.
We see Tess Palmer planning her cousin’s wedding quickly and in two weeks. She is going to be the Maid of Honor. She wants it to be perfect for her cousin. The best man is Carter Sloan. The two of them want to give the bride and groom a special day - especially after the previous wedding planner ran off with the funds. Carter and Tess butt heads a bit - but are open and honest with each other. They know their main purpose is to create a picture perfect wedding.
Tess is widowed. She wants nothing to do with love again. Carter is more concerned about his business than love. I loved seeing the two of them realize their feelings for each other. The author created some realistic characters that are likable and have flaws. I hope to read more from this author in the future.
