My Thoughts
Goobletygok is a cute picture book that is written by Richard Bird. This book is recommended for those 4 and up. This book had myself, my 11 year old son and my 9 year old son laughing throughout the whole book. Freddy and his grandfather Poppy are hanging out one day and they start to play a game. Complete with made up words and rhymes that will leave you in stiches. Our favorite part of the book was : Freddy started laughing harder.“Flapes love apes, wearing capes, eating grapes.” Freddy laughed for a little while longer .The author has also illustrated what the off the wall words mean and they all tie in well together. This would be a perfect edition to any children's library. It's a fun book to read as a family. Thank you to the author, publisher and Children's Book Review for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.
