My Thoughts

Oh My Gosh. This is one of the best Love Inspired Suspense books that I have every read. I could not turn pages fast enough. This book is part of the Amish Country Justice series - but the books are all stand alones. I have read 2 of the other books in the series and enjoyed them.
So, when you start this book - start it when you have a good few hours to read it. You will not want to put it down. Your heart will be pounding throughout the whole book.
Main Character, Jennie Beiler thought her husband was dead. She is shocked when Luke shows up on her doorstep. He cannot remember what happened to him, and how he hurt his leg. He knows that he needed to protect Jennie - but does not remember being married to her. He feels that he needs to find her - and can't remember why he knows so much about her.
The chemistry between these characters is so sweet. They have to get to know each other all over again. I am sure that was frustrating for Jennie. During the whole getting to know each other again - someone is after Jennie and her son, LJ. Luke knows that he needs to keep her safe. Jennie and her son have been living English. Will bringing them to quiet Amish Country help keep them save.
I really thought I had it figured out who was behind it all. I was not right - the author has introduced so many twists and turns throughout the book. Kudos to the author for all the suspense.

I received a copy of this book through JustRead tours - all thoughts are my own.
