MY THOUGHTS

Cold Dead Night is written by Lisa Phillips. This is the first book in the Brand of Justice series. This was an amazing action packed suspenseful book that I did not want to end. Kenna Banbury is a private investigator. She has lost everything thanks to a serial killer. She has had to rebuild her life - and all of a sudden everything has brought her back to where life went horribly wrong.

A new batch of murders have brought her into a FBI investigation. When a dead body shows up with her business card on it - she is thrust into the midst of the chaos. She finds herself having flashbacks and nightmares. She is trying to keep it all together as she navigates the case.

This story contains lots of twists and turns. There is plenty of action and suspense. The book moves at a fast pace and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters are well written and the storyline is realistic. I am not sure if I have read anything by this author before.
